Poor baby Gino was simply minding his own business, playing near the base of the tree when trouble came—unexpected and painful. Banom, an older juvenile monkey known for being quite mischievous, suddenly jumped down and without warning, bit Gino right on his sensitive thigh area. Gino let out a sharp, heartbreaking scream. His tiny body froze in fear, then trembled from the pain. The bite was not just a warning—it was deep, and clearly caused Gino serious pain.
Why would Banom do such a thing? That’s the question everyone watching asked. Gino is just a small baby, barely old enough to walk steadily. He wasn’t doing anything aggressive, not even bothering Banom. It seemed Banom was either jealous or simply trying to establish dominance over the weaker baby. Regardless of the reason, Gino was left whimpering and limping, his wound visibly swelling within minutes.
Gino’s mother rushed over when she heard his cries. Her face turned from calm to panic as she examined his injury. She tried to comfort him, grooming him gently and holding him close, but Gino was still in shock. He looked around with wide, scared eyes, unsure of what had just happened. His playtime turned into a nightmare.
Other members of the troop noticed the commotion. Some older females gave Banom warning looks, even lightly pushing him away when he tried to come near again. There was a clear sense of protection forming around Gino.
It’s always sad to see a baby monkey go through such harsh moments, especially one as gentle and curious as Gino. He didn’t deserve that bite, and now he must recover from the physical pain—and maybe emotional fear too. Hopefully, his mom will keep a closer watch, and Banom will learn that hurting others brings consequences. Stay strong, little Gino!
