Mama Joyce, known for her gentle nature and close bond with caretakers, had been carefully monitored throughout her pregnancy. When she went into labor early Sunday morning, sanctuary staff were on standby to ensure a safe delivery. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and the little one arrived without complications.
The newborn is thriving, clinging tightly to Mama Joyce’s chest as she lovingly tends to her baby. Weighing just under a pound, the infant sports a soft, fuzzy coat and wide, curious eyes.
