In the quiet corner of the forest, the baby monkeys had gathered for another round of playful games. Luna, the ever-curious little one, hopped around with excitement while Laurena tried to keep up, still small and a little timid. Laura, on the other hand, was full of energy and mischief. She enjoyed chasing her friends, sometimes a bit too wildly.
That afternoon, Laura decided to leap suddenly from behind a tree, making a loud sound to scare Laurena. The poor baby jumped back, her tiny face twisting with fear, and she let out a sharp cry. Luna froze for a moment, unsure whether it was part of the game or something real.
It was then that Luri, the older and wiser one among them, stepped in. With a firm voice and narrowed eyes, Luri sc.o.lds Laura. “That is not kind,” she said, holding Laurena close to calm her down. “Playing is fun, but scaring others until they cry is not the way to treat your friends.” Laurena clung tightly to Luri, still shaken, while Laura looked down, ashamed of her actions.
Laura hadn’t meant to truly hurt anyone. She only wanted to make the game exciting, but seeing Laurena’s frightened face made her realize the harm she had caused. Luna, sensing the tension, tried to lighten the moment by gently nudging Laura, as if saying, “Make it right.”
Taking a deep breath, Laura approached Laurena and softly touched her hand. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. Laurena sniffled but managed a small nod, forgiving her. Luri smiled, satisfied that Laura had learned a lesson about kindness and respect.
From that day on, the little group played more carefully, remembering that friendship was stronger when built on trust, not fear.
