The forest echoed with frightened cries as a tiny baby monkey struggled to free himself from a narrow hole between two rocks. His small hands trembled, his face filled with panic, and his little heart beat rapidly. The poor baby didn’t understand what had happened — one moment he was playing happily, and the next, he was trapped, unable to move. His desperate eyes darted around, searching for his mother, calling out for help with soft but heartbreaking squeals.
Nearby, his mother heard the faint cries and rushed toward the sound. Her heart sank as she saw her baby stuck, shaking and terrified. She tried to pull him gently, but the rocks were too tight. The baby screamed louder, thinking she might leave him behind. His tail twitched helplessly, and tears rolled down his small cheeks. It was a painful sight — the mother pacing back and forth, confused and desperate, not knowing how to save her little one.
A group of other monkeys gathered, alarmed by the baby’s cries. Some tried to help by scratching at the edges of the rock, while others kept watch, making sure no predators came near. The forest seemed to hold its breath in sympathy for the tiny trapped creature.
Finally, after much struggle and effort, the mother managed to loosen the rock slightly. With one last tug, the baby monkey was free! He leapt straight into her arms, clinging tightly to her chest. The relief was overwhelming — the cries of fear turned into soft whimpers of comfort. The mother held him close, grooming his fur gently, reassuring him that he was safe now. Everyone around seemed calm again, as the forest slowly returned to peace after the frightening moment.
