The peaceful afternoon in the monkey troop turned into chaos when Mom Gonda suddenly lost her temper with her tiny baby, Conga. The baby had only been trying to cling close, searching for comfort and warmth from his mother. But instead of love, he was met with aggression. Gonda, known for her unpredictable moods, began to push and grab the little one roughly. Poor baby Conga screamed in pain, his small body trembling as he tried to escape from his mother’s harsh hands.
The other monkeys nearby looked shocked but stayed away, afraid to interfere with the angry mother. Baby Conga’s soft cries echoed through the trees, his eyes filled with confusion. He couldn’t understand why his own mom would hurt him. Gonda continued to fight, pulling at his tiny arms and even biting him lightly out of frustration. It was heartbreaking to watch such a helpless baby being treated so cruelly by the one who should protect him most.
After the attack, little Conga sat alone, weak and sore. His fur was messy, and he looked lost, glancing around as if hoping someone would come to help. Slowly, he tried to crawl back toward Gonda, still wanting her love despite the pain she caused. For a moment, Gonda looked down at him—her anger fading into guilt. She touched his back gently, and the baby leaned against her, too exhausted to move.
This sad scene shows how fragile life is for baby monkeys. Poor Conga’s trust and love for his mom remain unbroken, even after being hurt. Hopefully, Gonda learns to care for her baby before it’s too late, because little Conga truly deserves a mother’s love, not pain.
