Again & Again, Try to Train Sovana with the Amber Group, Bunita Tries to Pull Sovana to Adopt

Again and again, Bunita gently but firmly tried to train little Sovana with the Amber Group. Sovana, a timid baby monkey, was struggling to adapt to the new way of life under group discipline. The Amber Group, known for their playful yet structured lifestyle, welcomed newcomers—but Sovana found it hard to fit in.

Every morning, Bunita would approach Sovana with soft eyes and a calming presence. She would guide Sovana toward the others, encouraging her to join the group’s grooming rituals or to jump from branch to branch during climbing practice. But Sovana would freeze, her small hands clinging to the nearest trunk, afraid to move forward.

The other young monkeys in Amber Group were already learning survival skills—how to find food, how to play without hurting one another, and how to respect the elders. Sovana, however, always hung back. She missed her old routine and felt lost without her previous group.

Bunita didn’t give up. She believed Sovana could learn and belong. Day by day, she sat beside her during training, shared her fruits, and nudged her closer to the others during playtime. When Sovana cried or resisted, Bunita didn’t scold her. She just stayed by her side, patiently.

Slowly, Sovana began to respond. She started mimicking the grooming behaviors and even attempted a few awkward jumps during climbing. Her confidence grew—bit by bit.

Bunita’s love and persistence were beginning to work. Sovana still had a long way to go, but with each passing day, she became braver. The Amber Group was no longer just a group—it was becoming her new family. And Bunita, the one who never gave up, was like a second mother pulling her gently into a better future.
