In the heart of the forest, little monkey BB sat quietly under the shade of an old tree. His eyes were filled with sadness, and his small body trembled with weakness. For days, BB had longed for the warm comfort of his mother’s milk, but she had begun to wean him. It was nature’s way, but for BB, it felt like the world was turning against him. Each time he reached out to cling and nurse, his mother gently pushed him away. Her heart was heavy, but she knew her baby must grow strong on his own.
BB could not understand why the love he once knew now came with rejection. His tiny cries echoed through the trees, a call for comfort, a plea for care. The pain of hunger mixed with the hurt of not being embraced left him deeply pitiful. His fragile body curled up, and his eyes searched for answers in the face of his mother. But all he received was a tender glance, full of love yet firm in decision.
The other monkeys played nearby, full of energy and laughter, while BB remained lonely, battling the ache of change. Still, his mother never left him far behind. She guided him to new food, showed him fruits and leaves, and taught him survival. Though her refusal felt harsh, it was truly her way of giving him strength.
In time, BB would learn to eat on his own, to grow more independent, and to realize that his mother’s tough love was born from deep care. For now, however, the little monkey’s sorrow was undeniable—his tiny heart broken by the loss of milk, yet quietly nurtured by a love that only a mother could give.
