Little baby monkey Ariana just wanted to be close to her mother. With her soft little hands and innocent eyes, she reached out to cuddle up beside Mama Anna. But something heartbreaking happened. Nobody truly knows what made Mother Anna act so harshly. Maybe she was stressed, confused, or feeling threatened somehow. But baby Ariana couldn’t understand that. All she wanted was to be loved and accepted. The rejection and the pain were too much for her tiny body and gentle spirit.
