Oh Daddy Di_e..! Make Poor Monkey Hur_/t Coz Broken One Leg

The jungle was unusually quiet that morning, as if the trees themselves were holding their breath. Little Miko, a young monkey with bright eyes and soft brown fur, sat alone near the roots of a fallen fig tree. His tiny chest shook with sobs that echoed through the leaves. Just yesterday, his world had felt safe. His daddy had been there—strong, watchful, always lifting him onto high branches with gentle hands.

But now Daddy was gone.

No one knew exactly how it happened. Some said a sudden fight broke out near the river. Others whispered about a fall from the old tree during a stormy night. What everyone could see, though, was Miko’s pain. One of his small legs lay awkwardly to the side, injured and useless, making every movement a struggle. Each time he tried to stand, he cried out and collapsed back onto the earth.

Without his father, Miko felt lost. Other monkeys passed by, busy with their own lives, glancing at him with quick, uncertain looks. He called out softly, hoping his daddy would answer, hoping this was all a bad dream. But only the wind replied.

Hunger and fear wrapped around him like cold vines. Still, Miko did not give up. With great effort, he dragged himself closer to the tree trunk where the sun warmed his fur. There, he remembered his father’s lessons: be brave, hold on, survive even when the world feels cruel.

As the day wore on, a gentle older female monkey approached. She sat beside him quietly, offering fruit and comfort. Though she could not heal his broken leg or bring back his daddy, her presence reminded Miko that he was not completely alone.

In the heart of loss and pain, a small spark of hope remained. Even in the darkest moments, kindness can still find its way through the jungle.
